Holiday village, Ravda

The task of my thesis project at the university was the design of a holiday village in Ravda, a resort located on Black sea coast.
Guests enter the area from North. There is a Reception building, from which the visitors could go directly to their houses or use one of the public services-restaurant, swimming pool, sport centre. The residences are two types -`A` and `B`.
In front of the north and south facades of the Recption building there are groups of tables and chairs, covered by pergolas. The restaurant is on one level and consists of three functional groups - storages, food preparational group and a dining hall.
In all houses are applied the same construction and materials. Another feature is their sliding system, that allows to open completely the internal spaces to outside.

Table design

In 2015 I participated in a competition called "Furniture of the year". It was organized by "Cherga", a bulgarian design group. There were different categories with separated ratings. My product was a coffee table and the inspiration for its design comes from an oak leaf. The leaf falls and then bends itself. By the received form i create the table`s base. The raft is made from glass and is connected with the base by aluminium elements. The same type of elements holds the whole structure. The dimensions are 600/900/380 mm.
